Wholesale Energy Purchasing
A unique energy purchasing scheme exclusively for the not for profit sector
Today, energy costs are increasingly driven by global issues outside our control, and the pressure on charities to become more cost-effective during the current economic climate is growing. Up to now, charities' ability to control their energy costs and manage the level of risk associated with these costs has been very limited.

Utility Aid has joined with Inenco (www.inenco.com) to help charities take control of their energy purchasing and manage this risk. Charities can now join forces to combine their energy purchasing and buy energy direct from the wholesale energy markets. This enables charities to actively manage their risk and control their overall energy costs.

The combined requirements - or 'energy basket' - is managed by Inenco, the UK's largest independent buyer of energy to the wholesale energy market. Through its partnership with Utility Aid, Inenco can allow any charity to join with major UK companies to be part of a £1 billion energy portfolio and benefit from active risk management.
