Utility Aid helps charities reduce their energy costs and become more energy efficient by providing a mixture of services. As well as delivering these benefits, this creates employment for disabled people as trained energy efficiency managers through our Charity Utility Initiative (CUI).
Since our launch, Utility Aid has helped its charity clients save over £4 million on their energy bills, installed over 700 smart meters to monitor energy usage and created permanent employment for two people as trained energy efficiency managers. Over the next three years Utility Aid aims to help the charity sector achieve annual savings in excess of £20 million and create jobs for 20 people with disabilities.
We provide independent advice and support to help ensure you are on the best possible deal with your energy supplier, or help you tender and negotiate a new energy supply contract for electricity or gas, or join the co-operative energy purchasing scheme managed by Inenco.
We offer an energy efficiency management service which uses the installation of smart-meters to monitor your energy usage, and advise you on where you can improve efficiency and reduce your bills.
